
UP festival kicks off European event series in Bulgaria
Cutting-edge music and art event UP Festival has announced a series of one-night events across Europe, with the debut edition set to take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, on December 3rd 2021.
The line-up for the inaugural event at Micro Club includes international tastemakers such as Sonja Moonear, John Dimas, Amir Javasoul and Bruno Curtis, alongside local talent Laylla Dane.
From 8pm until 8am, clubbers can expect a hypnotic journey with a diverse and eclectic sound paired with immersive visuals and a thrilling atmosphere as UP takes over the Bulgarian capital.
“We are very happy to launch the UP event series and bring our genuine vibes to beautiful Sofia. We’re always committed to the quality and tight bond with our artists and crowd,” the UP management team said.
“We couldn’t be more excited to reconnect with all our people. UP will continue bringing the biggest DJ stars while showcasing the greatest local talent. We would like to invite all party heads, thrill-seekers and travellers to join us.”
UP Festival started as a 72-hour music and art festival in Prague, featuring a mix of techno’s most prestigious names and underground talent, as well as various forms of visual art.
The electronic music gathering’s previous editions in 2018 and 2019 featured internationally renowned artist such as Ricardo Villalobos, Marcel Dettmann, Margaret Dygas, tINI, Cristi Cons, Dewalta, Ion Ludwig, Magda and many more.
