Kappa Futurfestival announces dates for July 2022
After being put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Kappa Futurfestival will make a comeback for its ninth edition next summer.
Returning to its original home at the Parco Dora industrial space in Turin, Italy, the music and culture gathering will run from Friday, July 1st to Sunday, July 3rd 2022. To make up for lost time, an extra date has been added to what was traditionally a two-day event.
One of Europe’s leading electronic music and digital arts festivals, tickets will go on sale on November 23rd 2021, but those keen not to miss out can already pre-register themselves on the official Kappa Futurfestival website (see link below).
“After two years of hiatus, we are finally ready to return! I am proud to announce that Kappa FuturFestival will take place on July 1, 2 and 3, 2022. The novelty this edition is that we add one more day to the program, a gift for our audience (both fans and followers) who have supported us in this difficult period,” said Maurizio Vitale Jr, CEO and Co-Founder of Movement Entertainment.
“A longer festival for the increase in audience that we expect; our goal is to reach 90,000 people in the venue, 40% of them from outside Italy (in 2019 they already reached 32%).”
With an excellent music programme as well as an exhibition of the latest technological innovations and fantastic atmosphere, the last instalment of Kappa Futurfestival in 2019 attracted some 60,000 revellers of more than 100 different nationalities.
Kappa Futurfestival is considered one of Italy’s standout events and was featured amongst the 50 best music and art gatherings in the book “Festivals”.
