Ibiza Global Radio UAE Beach Festival: Everything You Need to Know
It’s almost time! We’re turning up the volume on our first ever festival this weekend. Ibiza Global Radio UAE Beach Festival brings the heat, delivering cutting-edge sounds and cool Ibiza-style vibes. Our festival delivers the best of both worlds – awesome international headliners and a squad of local legends from the Ibiza Global Radio UAE DJ family. Underground superstars Mattias Tanzmann, Mano Le Tough and Anja Schneider are flying in to rock the joint and we can’t wait to party with 4000 like-minded music lovers.
It’s all going down on Saturday 19th March, at Soul Beach, JA The Resort, Jebel Ali – a short cab ride from Dubai Marina. A day-to-night affair, the tunes will be pumping from noon – 11pm. As the big day approaches, here’s everything you need to know…

Matthias Tanzmann
What’s the story behind Ibiza Global Radio UAE Beach Festival, then?
It’s always been our intention to bring the music we broadcast across the airwaves into the live environment. Covid forced us to be patient but it’s given us time to perfect our festival vision. Now that Covid restrictions have been lifted and we can all dance again, it’s the perfect time to celebrate. Ibiza Global Radio UAE Beach Festival is a way for us to connect with our listeners in a physical space. It’s an important part of what we do and we can’t wait to dance with everybody.

Mano Le Tough
What’s so great about the headliners?
Where do we start? Mattias Tanzmann, Mano Le Tough and Anja Schneider are hugely respected in the dance music world. Tanzmann and Anja are deeply entrenched in the German scene. Tanzmann’s influential Moon Harbour Recordings label is celebrating its 20-year anniversary and the DJ and producer is one-third of the Better Lost Than Stupid trio with Davide Squillace and Martin Buttrich. Hailing from Ireland, Mano Le Tough is the much-in-demand DJ and producer behind the Maeve record label and party series. He showcased his diversity with his splendid At The Moment album on Pampa Records last year. And Berlin-based Anja is a superwoman in our eyes. DJ, producer and broadcaster, Anja co-founded Mobilee Records and later Sous Music. Forever championing new talent and the importance of radio broadcasting, Anja is a trailblazer for other female DJs. And sure knows how to carve up a dancefloor, with regular gigs at Berlin’s infamous Watergate Club. Together on the same line-up, they’re a force to be reckoned with.

Anja Schneider
What’s so special about the Ibiza Global Radio UAE DJs on the line-up?
We’re really lucky to have such an incredible DJ family at the station – each and every one of them is super talented. They live and breathe dance music and many are local legends; they’re the bedrock of Dubai’s amazing club scene. The festival is a great opportunity to showcase their talent alongside the headliners. Alex Twin and Darko De Jan are teaming up for a special back-to-back set. Jixo & Danz and Fizzo & Jay bring their special duo dynamic. And Sam Farsio, Clint Maximus and Xavi Emparan will knock it out the park. Everyone is bringing their A-game, ensuring the festival rocks from start to finish.
Where can I hear the local DJs before the festival?
Most of them hold residencies in Dubai’s best clubs and venues and they all have shows on Ibiza Global Radio UAE. Check out their radio shows throughout the week – it’s a great way to get into the groove for the festival.
What’s the venue like?
Soul Beach is a hidden gem. It was recently refurbished and it looks amazing. With its white sandy beach and gorgeous turquoise sea, it has a real Ibiza vibe. It’s only a 15-minute drive from Dubai Marina but you’ll feel a million miles away from the city. It’s a gorgeous escape from day-to-day reality.
What’s the set-up?
It’s an intimate set-up, designed specifically to make everyone feel up close and personal with the artists. The main stage is on the beach so there will be plenty of dancing on the sand. There’s a range of other cool options too, including sunloungers and cabanas surrounding the pool. Whatever your preference, the music will hit you perfectly from our insane Funktion One sound system.
What can I eat?
Don’t worry, you won’t go hungry over the 11-hour session. There are plenty of options to keep you fuelled up, from pizza, burgers and shawarmas through to sushi platters.
What’s the bar set-up?
It’s a cash bar so no faffing about with tokens or any of that malarkey.
And when I need to answer the call of nature?
We’ve got you covered. The festival will have ample toilet facilities, with attendants keeping everything nice and clean.
How will I get home?
There will be plenty of taxis at the exit. Or if you have a designated driver, hire a car via Carasti and, once you’ve recovered, arrange some road trips with your friends.
Any Covid-related regulations?
No, nix, nada, none, zero, diddly-squat – just like the good old days! Just bring yourself and be yourself.
Okay, I’m in – but I’m on a budget. What’s the cheapest option for me?
It’s super-affordable. Tickets start at AED150. That’s the princely sum of less than 15 dirhams an hour!

Poolside cabanas
Okay, I’m in – and I wanna splash out. How can I go large?
There’s a whole range of special packages to suit all types of budgets. Sunbeds and cabanas – for groups of six – have a minimum spend of just AED2500 and AED3000. There are three VIP packages with minimum spends of AED5000, AED6000 and AED8000. Or go all out with one of four backstage options, ranging from AED10,000 to AED18,000. The VIP and backstage packages include entry for up to 15 people – great options for large groups. And you can spend on whatever you like – food, beverages and shisha. You can add additional guests for just AED150 too. So when you break it down, our packages are very, very affordable.
Where can I buy tickets?

Anything else I need to know?
Hmm, just that you’ll kick yourself if you miss it. There’s a real buzz about the festival – it’s gonna be off the scale. But you know that already.
