HVOB announce new album “TOO” and 2022 world tour
Talk about Christmas coming early! As we are heading into winter, Austrian duo HVOB have announced their upcoming sixth album and a world tour for spring 2022.
Known for their atmospheric and hypnotic soundscapes, their latest record “TOO” sees the esteemed electronic music act take a drastic new direction, exploring ‘extremes in concept, content and sound’.
Described as ‘an angry, tender, vulnerable, determined account of a generation’s search for life,’ the first single, Bruise, is out now, with the rest of the album to be releases sporadically over the next six months.
am i too cold / am i too old / am i not good for you
am i too quiet / am i too tired / am i too much for you
– From Capture Casa, “TOO”, HVOB
Exploring challenging themes such as finding your place in an increasingly confusing and uncertain time, dealing with one’s own and other people’s expectations, and careering between determination and self-doubt, Anna Müller and Paul Wallner are capturing the Zeitgeist of a generation left to wonder what our world, and society, has become.
The final track of the album will be released to coincide with the start of HVOB’s world tour, which will kick off on the 21st of April 2022 in Munich, Germany.
The European leg of the “TOO” concert tour will see HVOB play 18 shows across Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Switzerland, with more dates to be announced.
