Brace for Impact: Ibiza Global Radio 95.3 UAE Beach Festival is Back!
After a long, hot summer, Ibiza Global Radio 95.3 UAE Beach Festival is back with an almighty bang. We’ve spent the summer months plotting and planning to make our hugely popular Beach Festival even more epic than before – and we can’t wait to see your beautiful smiley faces when we reunite at SOULBEACH.
After two phenomenally successful events earlier this year, we’re coming in strong with eight festivals locked in between October and May. It all kicks off on Saturday 1st October with a mind-blowing line-up of international guests that includes bona fide legends and future heroes.
“Buoyed by the success of our initial two festivals, we’ve been working hard all summer to secure some of the world’s finest DJs for our new season,” says Ibiza Global Radio 95.3 UAE Managing Partner Theo Makris. “We’re bringing an immense amount of DJ talent to Dubai over the coming months – from heavyweight masters to the freshest faces rising through the ranks. Every festival will be magical.”
Themba, Stacey Pullen, Armonica, Neverdogs and Fleur Shore are the international guests bringing the heat to Ibiza Global Radio 95.3 UAE Beach Festival on 1st October.
Themba
Let’s Stomp
After a crazy summer touring and rocking his Ibiza parties, award-winning DJ and man-of-the-moment Themba has one key goal – to make you stomp your feet. Released on Armada Music in July, Themba’s ‘Stomp Your Feet’ is a swinging earworm replete with infectious beats and memorable vocal lines. It underscores Themba’s unique take on house and demonstrates why his music is heavily supported by the likes of Black Coffee, Hot Since 82, Damian Lazarus and many more of the world’s influential tastemakers.
Fresh
Masterful at nailing down a groove, Detroit legend Stacey Pullen is renowned for his sets of sleek and futuristic techno. While first and foremost a revered DJ, Pullen’s standout mixes for fabric, 20:20 Vision, DJ Kicks and Balance sound as fresh today as the day they were released.
An integral part of the Afterlife tribe, the Armonica lads – Andrea Arcangeli and Salvatore Angelucci – make a welcome return to our Beach Festival. The Italian duo’s deep progressive tech sound is loaded with driving rhythms and moody atmospherics. Need proof? Check out their latest track, ‘U Can’t Ctrl Me’.
Feelgood
Armonica’s fellow countrymen, Neverdogs – Marko De Gregorio and Tommy Paone – promise feelgood house and techno full of sensual tones and sultry atmospheres. Regular faces at some of the biggest festivals and clubs in world, Marko and Tommy celebrated 20 years as a DJ and production duo with a marathon set at London’s Fabric recently. Straight after rocking our Beach Festival, they return to Fabric on Sunday 2nd October to celebrate the fourth birthday of their Bamboleo Records imprint.
Fleur Shore
Ascent
Rounding out the stellar line-up of international guests, the UK’s Fleur Shore is a house DJ whose star is firmly in the ascent. Adding a modern twist to old school sounds, Fleur’s music is amassing her fans from Amnesia to Elrow. With earlier releases on The Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin’ Headz label, Fleur’s ‘Heart of Jazz’ EP was unleashed recently on the label’s Boogeyman offshoot.
Dubai’s Finest
Of course, no Ibiza Global Radio 95.3 UAE Beach Festival line-up is complete without a selection of the station’s finest resident DJs. UAE favourites Jixo & Danz are back doing what they do best, along with Sunset Sessions presenter Clint Maximus and Live For The Weekend host Jon Besant. And keep your ears peeled for Redbull opening act Offcourse.
Ibiza Vibes
Oozing cool Ibiza ambience and perched on the edge of JA The Resort’s stunning marina, SOULBEACH is looking shipshape too. Just a 15-minute drive from Dubai Marina, the festival venue boasts an expansive private white sandy beach that meets azure blue seas. “We’re excited to bring our special Beach Festival vibes back to SOULBEACH,” says station boss Theo Makris. “We’re counting down the days until we’re dancing in the sand with our friendly crowd once again.”
