Amsterdam Dance Event is the king of electronic music conferences. Each year, a who’s who of the dance music world descends on the city for five days of panels, workshops, showcases, tech demonstrations and parties – lots and lots of parties. A networking haven, ADE attracts top-flight DJs, artists, label managers, technology giants, publishers and promoters through to bedroom DJs, unsigned producers and legions of dance music fans. The Business Behind the Music
Blighted by Covid in 2020 and 2021, ADE is back in full swing this year — from Wednesday 19th until Sunday 23rd October — with a full conference and festival programme. The conference tackles the business behind the music. 1: Initially a three-day event launched in 1996, the first ADE featured 300 delegates and 30 DJs performed across the event.
2: Today, ADE’s five-day conference and festival programme consists of more than 1000 events in nearly 200 locations throughout the city.
3: Over 9000 professional delegates and 2500 artists will take part this year.
4: Covering every genre and sub-genre of electronic music, the ADE festival programme boasts over 300 parties and label showcases to test your partying stamina.
